There is lots to do year round at the Blue Moose Cabin. In the summer, take a 3 minute walk down to the pristine Roxbury Pond where there is excellent fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking, etc. Roxbury Pond also has a public beach that is great for kids. Watch a pair of bald eagles soar from their island nest to catch fish in crystal clear waters.
The cabin is also near many great mountains and hiking trails including the Appalachian Trail. It is a great place for hunting, all-terrain vehicles and for viewing the spectacular autumn foliage.
The cabin is located directly next to an extensive network of ATV/snowmobiling trails that stretch for miles around. It has great access to numerous skiing locations including Sunday River Resort.
